7-1-8: OVERHANGING DEVICES:
No person shall place or maintain any wire, cable, rope, arch, strut, or other artificial device or structure, or any thing or device carried thereon or suspended therefrom, over or across any street or alley at a height of less than fourteen feet (14') above the traveled portion of the street or alley. (1982 Code § 4.211)
