A. Authority To Remove: Any police officer may remove an unattended vehicle from a street, alley or other public property to a garage or other place of safety when the vehicle constitutes an obstruction to traffic, endangers others, or is parked in violation of law or this code and thereby hinders snow removal or street improvement or maintenance operations.
B. Redemption: The vehicle shall not be released until the fees for towing and storage are paid.
C. Citation: The officer may also issue a ticket for time violation. (1982 Code § 5.281)
