5-2-2: LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS:
The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to law enforcement officers or other duly authorized persons whenever the lawful duties of their office or occupation require them to carry loaded firearms or to perform an act which conflicts with the provisions of this chapter. (1982 Code § 8.232)
