All mains installed shall be chlorinated in accordance with that standard known as the Procedure for Disinfecting Water Mains, published by the American Water Works Association, or another method acceptable to the City Manager. All chlorinating procedures shall be repeated until all portions are indicated to be safe after bacteriological testing by the Michigan State Health Department.
