§ 50.004 CONNECTION TO PUBLIC SEWER REQUIRED.
   (A)   The owner of all existing houses, buildings or properties used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or other purposes situated within the town and abutting on any street, alley or right-of-way in which there is located a public sewer of the town is hereby required, at his or her expense, to install suitable toilet facilities therein and to allow such facilities to be connected directly with the proper public sewer in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   The owner of any future house, building or property used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or other purpose situated within the town and abutting on any street, alley or right-of-way in which there is located a public sewer of the town is hereby required, at his or her expense, to install suitable toilet facilities therein and, at his or her expense, install the necessary on-site sewer system and connect directly with the proper pressure sewer main or gravity service line, in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, prior to occupying said house, building or property, provided that a pressure sewer main or gravity service line is within 300 feet of the owner’s property line.
