(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall become liable to the town for any expense, loss or damage occasioned the town by reason of such violation.
(C) As set out in § 50.006 of this chapter, anyone failing to comply with the town’s rules and regulations regarding sump pump inspections shall be fined an amount as set by the Town Council from time to time per month for the first six months. However, after six months of noncompliance, the fine shall be increased to an amount as set by the Town Council from time to time per month for months seven through 12. If the consumer is still in noncompliance after month 12, the fine shall increase to an amount as set by the Town Council from time to time per month thereafter.
(D) Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided in § 50.008 of this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty of not more than an amount as set by the Town Council from time to time per day for each violation. Each day during which any such violation continues shall be deemed a separate violation.
