§ 90.06  RELEASE OF IMPOUNDED ANIMAL.
   (A)   Any person whose animal has been impounded by the animal control agency may reclaim the animal by first appearing at the animal control agency during regular business hours and paying the fine and penalty imposed by this chapter, along with the impound fee charged by or to the animal control agency, if any, for picking up and transporting the animal. An authorized employee or agent of the animal control agency shall issue a proper receipt to that person upon payment.
   (B)   The person may then go to the animal pound and, upon presentment of:
      (1)   The town’s payment receipt;
      (2)   Proof of a current rabies vaccination if required; and
      (3)   Payment of any boarding and reclaiming fees that may be due at the animal pound,
may reclaim the animal.
