§ 75.02 COMPLIANCE REQUIRED.
   (A)   No person shall ride, or otherwise use, a skateboard within the town without complying with this section and any and all applicable ordinances of the Town of Danville and Indiana statutes.
   (B)   Yielding to pedestrians. Whenever any person is riding a skateboard upon a sidewalk or other paved surface intended for use by pedestrians, such person shall yield the right- of-way to any pedestrian and shall not approach, overtake or pass such pedestrian in a reckless or careless manner, nor pass such pedestrian except in single file, if such person riding a skateboard is with other such riders.
   (C)   Riding on certain devices or structures. No person shall use a skateboard on any public bench, table, planter wall, retaining wall, playground equipment, picnic tables, or other object or structure which is not intended for pedestrian or vehicular traffic, or jump or step on or off such objects or structures in the process of using a skateboard. No person shall use a skateboard on any public stairs, steps, or ramps designed to serve persons with physical disabilities.
   (D)   Riding while attached to vehicles. No person shall ride a skateboard while either the skateboard or the person is connected or attached to any vehicle.
   (E)   (1)   Restrictions in park and on safety risks. No person shall ride a skateboard on or upon Leedy Drive in Ellis Park from Gibson Street to Helton Drive.
      (2)   No person shall engage in skateboarding which creates an endangerment to the general public safety of themselves and/or others. Persons using skateboards shall adhere to all traffic controlled devices and statutes.
   (F)   Restrictions on use. No person shall ride a skateboard on public property or right-of-way in any position other than standing on the skateboard.
   (G)   Prohibition of ramps and incline devices. No person shall place, construct, establish, maintain, or use a ramp or other object or structure that creates a hard surface incline for skateboarding upon any public property or right- of-way.
