For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SCOOTER. A wheeled device, a child’s toy, consisting of handlebars attached by a long rod to a footboard on two wheels allowing one foot to be placed on the board and the other pushes against the ground to propel the scooter along.
SKATEBOARD. A non-motorized device designed for a person to stand on that consists of a board with a pair of small wheels used for movement on hard surfaces such as floors, sidewalks, and other paved surfaces.
