§ 32.07 VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT.
   (A)   Employees who work full-time at an hourly rate for Town departments, other than the Fire Department, but are members of the Fire Department, shall be considered as "employee volunteers" and shall be entitled to only the nominal compensation established by this section for their services to the Fire Department.
   (B)   "Employee volunteers" of the Fire Department shall receive nominal compensation to pay for personal expenses for items, including but not limited to shoes and belts, travel, meals, books and supplies for training purposes, in an amount of $150.00 per month.
   (C)   The rules of the Fire Department shall include continuing qualification requirements for "employee volunteer" members of the Department to ensure their active participation in the Department. Employees who fail to meet these continuing qualification requirements shall not be allowed to provide services for the Fire Department, unless the Chief of the Department finds that special circumstances should temporarily excuse the employee from meeting these requirements.
