(A) The Animal Control Officer is empowered to make whatever investigation he or she deems necessary to ensure compliance with the provisions of this subchapter, including, but not limited to obtaining a search warrant from a court of competent jurisdiction.
(B) Any person may file a complaint that a vicious animal is being harbored within the town. The complaint shall be filed with the Police Department on a written form provided by the Police Department. The Animal Control Officer shall conduct an investigation upon the receipt of a complaint.
