(A) The owner of a vicious animal shall notify the Police Department immediately upon becoming aware that the vicious animal is on the loose, is unconfined or has attacked another animal or human being.
(B) The owner of a vicious animal shall notify the Police Department within 24 hours if the vicious animal has died or has been sold or given away.
(C) If a vicious animal has been sold or given away, the owner shall also provide the Police Department with the name, address and telephone number of the new owner of the vicious animal within 24 hours of the time the action occurred.
