(A) It shall be the responsibility of the permit applicant to mark all excavations and fence the same off if necessary for safety purposes.
(B) In addition, the applicant shall be responsible for the protection and well-being of the general public from any excavations or construction or reconstruction being done and shall properly police the same from the general public along with providing all necessary safety markers, barricades and lighting to provide for the safety of all forms of traffic.
