(A) It shall be the responsibility of the permit holder to maintain all cuts for a period of 60 days after completion and shall be considered complete upon recommendation of the Town Manager or his or her designated representative.
(B) (1) There shall be no permits issued for routine work under this subchapter affecting any street or roadway which has been resurfaced within two years from the date of the permit application without permission of the Town Manager or his or her delegate.
(2) This section shall not apply in the case of an emergency which threatens the public safety or damage to property.
