(A) The driver of a vehicle approaching a yield sign shall, in obedience to the sign, slow down to a speed reasonable for existing conditions or shall stop if necessary and shall yield right-of-way to any pedestrian crossing or to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching so close to constitute an immediate hazard.
(B) (1) It is hereby ordered and ordained that the Town Manager or any other person designated by the Town Council shall put or cause to be posted signs at the aforesaid intersections controlling the traffic entering the intersections.
(2) A yield sign shall be a sign which shall be a downward pointing equilateral triangle having a red border and a white interior with the word yield in red. This sign assigns right-of-way to traffic on certain approaches to an intersection.
(C) It is hereby ordered and ordained that the following intersections in the town shall be and are hereby established as yield intersections.
