The mayor, or his designated agent, is empowered to revoke or suspend a bed and breakfast establishment's or a vacation rental license for any violation of this chapter. No license issued pursuant to this chapter shall be suspended or revoked except after a hearing. The licensee shall be given at least a 3-day written notice of such hearing affording the licensee an opportunity to appear and defend. Once a license is revoked or suspended the establishment shall cease operations until the violations are corrected as provided by law. Refusal to comply with this section may result in penalties being levied against the establishment's owner as described in § 150.999.
