§ 92.04 BUREAU OF FIRE PREVENTION.
   (A)   The IFC shall be enforced by the bureau of fire prevention in the city fire division (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “the bureau”).
   (B)   The bureau shall consist of the chief and not more than two members of the fire division designated by the chief. The bureau shall be under the direction and supervision of the fire chief.
   (C)   The duties of the bureau of fire prevention shall be the enforcement of the rules and regulations of this chapter, the enforcement of rules and regulations of other governmental units which relate to fire prevention and protection, including rules and regulations of the state and the city, including but not limited to the building code and related special provisions of housing and zoning ordinances.
   (D)   Whenever the bureau of fire prevention determines that dangerous or hazardous conditions may immediately adversely affect life or property, the chief may order the dangerous or hazardous conditions to be immediately remedied or eliminated. Any costs for the remedy or elimination of the dangerous or hazardous conditions will be borne by the owner or occupants of the building in proportion to their responsibility.
   (E)   Whenever a dangerous or hazardous condition is found in any building, lot, or premise that, in the opinion of the fire chief, is not specifically covered by the provisions of this chapter, the fire chief shall order the condition corrected or removed and the owner or occupant of the building, lot, or premise shall comply with the order.
