§ 73.028 PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of parking enforcement officers to enforce all City parking and non-moving traffic rules, regulations, and ordinances. They shall not have or attempt to assert the general powers or authority of police officers and shall have no authority to enforce other traffic regulations of the City.
   (B)   Any police officer or City employee designated to enforce the provisions of this chapter are authorized to reasonably mark vehicles parked on any street or parking space. The consent to such marking of the owner or operator or such vehicle shall be conclusively implied from the parking of any vehicle upon such street or parking space. No person shall remove, conceal, or obliterate any chalk mark or other distinguishing mark used by any police officer or other City employee in connection with the enforcement of the parking regulations of this chapter, if done for the purpose of evading the provisions of this chapter.
