§ 71.072 EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES.
   (A)   The streets described in Chapter 77, Schedule XVI are designated emergency snow routes.
   (B)   All such streets shall be posted with signs not less than 12 inches by 18 inches having a white background with black letters stating: "Snow Route, No Parking After 3" or "Snow, Tow-Away Zone."
   (C)   Parking is prohibited on any designated snow route when snow has accumulated on the roadway to a depth of three inches or more.
   (D)   When a forecast exists according to the National Weather Service that three or more inches is expected, the city will make a reasonable effort to notify the public via the news media that the possibility of the enforcement of the parking ban on the snow routes exists.
   (E)   Any vehicle which has not been removed from the snow route after there has been an accumulation of three inches of snow shall be in violation of this section and shall be subject to a $20 fine. In addition, the vehicle shall be towed away at the owner's expense.
   (F)   At such time as the emergency snow route has been cleared of snow, parking in areas where parking is permitted by ordinance shall again be permitted.
