§ 31.37 DOCUMENTS.

When a matter that has been placed on a meeting agenda contains typographical or nonsubstantive syntactical errors, the matter may be corrected by the City Clerk prior to or after adoption or vote without formal amendment; provided, however, that such changes shall not alter the result intended by the Council. Changes shall be made on the original copy of the resolution, ordinance or document included on the agenda, dated and initialed by the City Clerk and, if necessary, the agenda version of such item shall be retyped by the Clerk and re-executed by the presiding officer; such corrected resolution, ordinance or document shall become the original document.
   (B)   Authorized signatory. The Mayor shall sign all resolutions, ordinances and other documents requiring his or her signature which were adopted in his or her presence.
