(A) One copy of each subdivision plat submitted to the town for approval shall be forwarded to the senior transportation planner of the County Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to determine if the proposed subdivision lies within or adjacent to an existing or planned thoroughfare as shown on the most recently adopted version of the County Urban Area Thoroughfare Plan.
(B) Where a proposed subdivision includes any part of a thoroughfare, which has been designated as such upon the officially adopted Thoroughfare Plan of the town, that part of the thoroughfare shall be platted by the subdivider in the location shown on the Plan and at the width specified in this chapter.
