234.05 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK (UST) FUND.

(a) There is hereby established a special revenue fund, to be known as the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Fund. Such Fund shall be used to pay for taking corrective action and to compensate third parties for bodily injury and property damage caused by accidental releases arising from the operation of petroleum underground storage tanks.

(b) There is hereby appropriated the sum of eleven thousand dollars ($11,000) from the General Fund, to be transferred into the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Fund.
