Notwithstanding other provisions of the ordinances of the Village, golf carts shall be permitted on public streets within the Village when done so in compliance with all the provisions of this Chapter 450. A "golf cart" is defined as a motor vehicle as that term is defined under Ohio R.C. 4501.01(B) which is powered by gas or electricity and which can not exceed 20 miles per hour, is not originally designed or constructed for operation on a street or highway, and which is the type of vehicle typically operated on a golf course.
