856.07 COMPLAINTS.
   Any person may allege that a violation of this chapter has occurred, or that a violation will occur and cause injury, by filing with the Fair Housing Administrator, within one year of the alleged violation, a written complaint setting forth his or her grievance. The complaint shall state the name and address of the complainant, the name and address of the person(s) alleged to have committed a violation of this chapter and the particular facts thereof, and such other information as may be required by the Administrator. A complaint may be amended at any time. Upon the filing of a complaint, the Administrator shall acknowledge the receipt of the complaint, serving notice thereof to the complainant, which notice shall also contain information as to the provisions of Section 856.09.
