The members of the Charter Review Committee shall be appointed as follows: One by each member of Village Council; two by the Mayor. If such any appointee shall vacate his or her appointment, the member of Council or the Mayor, which ever made the original appointment, shall appoint another person to fill the position vacated. None of which persons appointed shall hold any other public office or appointment in the Village. Each such Charter Review Committee shall cease to function on December 31 of the year of its appointment. The members shall serve without compensation.
