1422.02 PURPOSE.

The purpose of the Residential Building Code of Ohio for One, Two, and Three-Family Dwellings, as adopted in Section 1422.01, is to establish rules and regulations for the erection, construction, alteration, repair, equipment, use and occupancy of non-industrialized one, two and three-family dwellings and appurtenant structures, including permits and penalties.
