The height of any building or structure shall not exceed 75 feet from the finished grade line to the highest part of a wall or the main roof, exclusive of cornices or similar decorative features as approved by the Planning Commission, except for a building within 250 feet of a residential property district, the height shall not exceed 38 feet. Elevator housings or other rooftop mechanical equipment shall not exceed 15 feet in height above the top of any structure.
