(a) No building or premises shall hereafter be erected, altered, used, arranged or designed to be used, in whole or in part, for other than one or more of the following specified uses:
(1) Uses for professional, administrative, executive, sales, government, business and public utility offices;
(2) Uses for basic and applied research for experimental or testing purposes, including research of production processes, and such manufacturing and storage facilities as may be desirable for experimental or development work;
(3) Manufacturing uses including all uses involving processing, fabrication, packaging, assembly and related functions whether using machinery or labor, and associated with industrial operations of producing goods, components and other related items from processed or previously manufacturing materials;
(4) Trade services including establishments engaged in the general construction, maintenance or repair of tangible personal property, buildings or fixtures.
(b) All uses of buildings or premises prohibited under Section 1248.02(a) are hereby prohibited in the Office Building, Research Laboratory and Light Manufacturing District.
