Any new or reconstructed sanitary waste lateral connection is to be distinct from the building's storm water connection. The two connections shall be separate to the properly line or right of way. If the sanitary waste connection ties into an existing sanitary sewer, the separate connections shall be continued to their respective sewer. If the sanitary waste connection ties into an existing combined sewer, the storm and sanitary connections may be joined at the property line.
