The Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall deposit on the next business day following the day of receipt such fines and monies received which exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000). If the amount of fines and monies does not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000), the Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall deposit the monies within a time period not to exceed three business days following the day of receipt. In the interim, the monies shall be safeguarded in the Village safe at the Village Hall.
