(a) There is hereby established a special fund to be known as the Office of Clerk of Mayor's Court Computer Fund, under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 5705.12.
(b) The Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall deposit in the Fund all sums received pursuant to Ordinance 1995-45, enacted pursuant to Ohio R.C. 1901.261, which levied an additional fee of not to exceed ten dollars ($10.00) to be paid as court costs for each defendant convicted in the Mayor's Court.
(c) The Mayor may disburse funds from the Fund, upon appropriation by Council, in an amount no greater than the actual cost of procuring and maintaining computer systems for the office of Clerk of the Mayor's Court.
(d) The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to send a certified copy of this section to the Bureau of Inspection and Supervision of Ohio Public Offices pursuant to Ohio R.C. 5705.12.
(e) Interest earned by the Fund shall be credited to the Fund.
