(a) The Fire Chief is hereby authorized and directed to create and implement an immunization program for all members of the Fire Department. The Fire Chief shall consult with the Mayor and Village Solicitor in creating and implementing the immunization program. The program shall contain a provision that if a member of the Fire Department refuses to take the prescribed immunization shots, such member shall be required to sign a release form relieving the Village of any liability.
(b) The Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to appropriate the necessary funds and pay the necessary expenses required to have all members of the Fire Department receive immunization shots.
