220.03 COMMITTEES.
   There shall be five standing committees of Council consisting of three members each, as follows:
   (a)   The Committee for Public Works, to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council;
   (b)   The Finance Committee, to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council;
   (c)   The Building Committee, to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council;
   (d)   The Insurance Committee, consisting of theChief Fiscal Officer, the Chairperson of the Finance Committee and two members of Council to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council. It shall be the duty of the Insurance Committee, ninety days prior to the expiration of any insurance policy purchased by the Village, to obtain information and make recommendations to Council at least thirty days prior to the expiration of the insurance policy with respect to renewal, a new carrier or alternative methods of insuring the Village, its property and employees; and
   (e)   The Economic Development Committee, to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council.
   (f)   Each standing committee shall create a mission statement and establish rules and procedures governing their operation. Each standing committee shall review such rules and procedures from time to time and update said rules and procedures as needed.
