Whenever in the Codified Ordinances or in any ordinance of the Municipality any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or whenever the doing of an act is required or the failure to do an act is declared to be unlawful, the Commission or performance of such act, or the failure to commit or perform such act, as required, shall, unless another penalty is provided, be deemed a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and the offender shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both, for each offense. Unless otherwise provided, a separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
