4-1-11: REFUSAL TO ISSUE; LICENSE REVOCATION:
Whenever the city council shall deem it best for the public interest to do so, it may, by resolution passed by a majority vote of the city council and approved by the mayor and attested by the city clerk, refuse to authorize the issuance of any license herein provided for, and the city council hereby expressly reserves, by resolution or affirmative vote of a majority of the city council and approved by the mayor and attested by the city clerk-treasurer, the right to revoke any and all licenses that may have been issued as herein provided when it shall deem best for the public interest to do so.
