9.20.230 LAC–Appointment–Membership.
   A.   Pursuant to Section 9.20.090 of this chapter, the City Council shall appoint a seven-member Local Assessment Committee (LAC). Additional members may be appointed to the LAC as deemed appropriate by the City Council.
   A.   Membership of the LAC shall be broadly constituted to reflect the makeup of the community, and shall include three representatives of the community at large, two representatives of environmental interest groups, and two representatives of affected businesses and industries. LAC members shall have no direct financial interest, defined in California Government Code, Section 87103, in the proposed off-site hazardous waste facility under its review.
