§ 15.09.350 CIVIL REMEDIES.
   Any tenant aggrieved by a violation of this subchapter may bring a civil suit in an appropriate State or federal court. A landlord found to be in violation of this subchapter shall be liable to the aggrieved tenant for damages and for tenant's attorneys' fees and costs. Tenants are not required to exhaust their administrative remedies under this subchapter prior to filing suit pursuant to this § 15.09.350.
