§ 95.048  REQUIRED CLEARANCE; PUBLIC SAFETY HAZARDS; NOTICE.
   (A)   Every owner of any tree or shrub overhanging any street or right-of-way within the town shall properly prune or have properly pruned the branches of the tree(s) or shrubs so that the branches shall not severely obstruct the light from any street lamp, any traffic control signs or devices, or the view of any street intersection. There shall be a clearance standard space of 15 feet above any highway or street surface and eight feet above any sidewalk surface.
   (B)   The owners of trees on private property shall remove or have removed all dead, diseased or dangerous trees, or broken or decayed limbs which constitute a hazard to public safety.
   (C)   The Town Council or the Town Manager may order to be removed and/or pruned the trees as per § 95.080 of this chapter.
