§ 90.03 TREATMENT AND KILLING OF DOGS OR OTHER ANIMALS.
   (A)   No person shall abuse or cruelly treat any animal.
   (B)   Other than a law enforcement officer or a duly licensed veterinarian performing a euthanasic killing, no person shall kill or attempt to kill any animal, except as provided in § 90.03(C).
   (C)   Any person may kill any animal observed in the act of wounding or attacking any person or domestic animal; and for such killing, such person shall incur no damages in liability or otherwise.
   (D)   No person shall throw or deposit any poisonous substance on any exposed public or private place where it endangers, or is likely to endanger, any animal or bird.
   (E)   No person shall abandon any animal within the city.
   (F)   Except for a police officer acting in an official capacity, no person shall injure, kill or capture any wild bird, or disturb any wild bird’s nest or its contents.
