§ 33.05 UNIFORM AND BADGE.
   Each member of the Police Department shall, while on duty, wear a suitable badge and uniform, except that the Chief may authorize the performance of specific duties while not in uniform. The city may provide all necessary badges, guns, and leather equipment, and each officer shall receive a uniform allowance, which amount shall be determined by the City Council. When a member terminates his or her membership in the Department, he or she shall immediately deliver to the city his or her badge, gun, and all other property of the city in his or her possession.
