§ 30.04 FREEDOM OF INFORMATION.
   (A)   Appointment of Freedom of Information Officer. The Village Board has determined that due to the complexities of the Act, it is desirable to appoint an attorney from the office of the Village Attorney as the Freedom of Information Act Officer. All such appointments shall be by the Mayor, from year to year, and subject to the posting of bond and oath.
   (B)   Fees for duplication. Except when a fee is otherwise fixed by state law, the following fees shall be imposed upon the duplication of records in fulfillment of any request under the Act, after 1-1-2010:
      (1)   For the first 50 pages of letter or legal sized black and white documents, there shall be no charge;
      (2)   The fee for black and white copies of letter or legal size documents shall be $.15 per page;
      (3)   The fee for color copies or copies in a size other than letter or legal shall be $.50 per page for internally generated documents, and the actual costs for copies sent to outside copying services.
      (4)   The cost for certifying a record shall be $1 for each record certified. The cost for the certification of multi-page records shall be $1 for each certification. The cost for multiple certifications of the same record shall be $1 each.
   (C)   Records available for disclosure. The Village Clerk shall develop a list of records immediately available for disclosure. The list shall be updated, from time to time, and available for inspection. The Village Clerk shall further develop a list or records or categories of records under the village's control.
   (D)   Effective date. This section shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
