Fines and penalties shall be imposed in accordance with the Village Code, or where no fine or penalty is expressed in the Village Code, the Hearing Officer may impose a fine or penalty according to his or her judgment. However, in no case may the fines imposed by the Hearing Officer exceed $750 per violation per day, or a maximum of $2,500 for all Building Code violations.
