§ 150.02 ELECTRICAL CODE.
   (A)   Conductors. Conductors normally used to carry current shall be of copper only. Where conductor sizes are given in this code, they shall apply to copper conductors. No other materials are to be used from the point of attachment to service drop.
   (B)   Minimum size. Wire size shall be smaller than number 8 wire for ranges of 83/4 KW or more rating, nor smaller than number 12 for other loads. Under no circumstances shall 14 gage wire be used. All wire must be installed in metal conduit.
   (C)   Couplings and connectors. Threadless couplings or connectors used with tubing shall be made up tight. At or below grade, all couplings shall be watertight, compression-type fittings if they are to be installed in wet places or buried in masonry, concrete or fill. Concrete-tight, crimp-type couplings or connectors may be installed at heights exceeding eight feet above grade, provided they are installed in latex poured floors, or buried in masonry or wood decks.
