(A) House numbers required. Each house in the village shall be designated by a house number, which number shall be visible in the front thereof and be of a size and clarity as to be easily deciphered from the curb line of the street.
(B) Assignment of numbers. A number shall be assigned to each house by the Building Commissioner and shall be determined in accordance with the numbering system currently prevailing in the City of Chicago, being merely an extension thereof.
