§ 150.21 SPRINKLER SYSTEMS.
   (A)   Inspection and approval required. No sprinkler plan or system shall be installed unless the plans for same have been approved by the Village Building Inspector, and no sprinkler system shall be maintained or operated unless inspected, tested and approved by the Village Building Inspector.
   (B)   Fees.
      (1)   Inspection and approval of sprinkler plans and system. Fees for the inspection and approval of sprinkler plans and sprinkler systems shall be as follows:
 
First 100 sprinkler heads or less contained in the system
$100
Each and every additional 100 or less sprinkler heads in excess of 100 sprinkler heads in the sprinkler system
$10
 
      (2)   Testing fire pumps. A fee for testing fire pumps used in connection with a sprinkler system shall be paid, computed as follows: $25 for each 50-gallon pumping capacity per minute.
      (3)   Waiver of fees. Permit fees aforesaid may be waived upon application to the Board of Trustees and Mayor, in their discretion, for any building used solely as a school or by a religious organization.
   (C)   Automatic sprinkler system.
      (1)   Every multiple-family residential building, hereinafter constructed or remodeled, shall be equipped with automatic sprinkler systems.
      (2)   The installation of automatic sprinkler systems in single-family detached residential buildings shall not be required. If the owner of a single-family detached residential building installs automatic sprinkler systems, then the village shall waive applicable building permit fees.
