§ 159.141 SCHEDULE OF PARKING REQUIREMENTS.
   Automobile parking spaces will be provided according to the following schedule and shall be subject to the following conditions in any district in which any of the following uses shall be established:
Churches
1 space for each 72 lineal inches of pew space or 4 seats in the church
Hospital
1 off-street parking space per bed plus 1 additional off-street parking space of each employee
Medical or dental offices
10 spaces per doctor engaged in clinic
Motels and tourist homes
1 space for each guest room, plus 1 additional space for the owner or manager and each employee
Multi-family dwellings
2 spaces for each family dwelling unit
Nursing home, convalescent home, shelter care and senior citizens home
1 off-street parking space for every 3 beds plus 1 off-street parking space for each employee
Places of public assembly including private clubs, lodges and fraternal buildings not providing overnight accommodations assembly halls, auditoriums, skating rinks, dance halls, theaters, stadiums, gymnasiums, amusement parks, funeral homes, community centers, libraries
1 space for each 3 fixed seats provided for patrons’ use or 1 space for every 3 persons capable of being accommodated in any building which does not contain fixed seats
Restaurant, bars, taverns, nightclubs and all other similar dining and/or drinking establishments
1 space for every 3 persons capable of being accommodated in the aforesaid establishments, not including kitchens, restrooms and storage areas, plus an additional 1 space for each employee
Single-family dwelling
2 spaces for each family dwelling unit
Notwithstanding the provisions in the above paragraphs, the Village Board may require additional off-street parking, as determined by the Board, to be needed at the time of the application for building permit to construct the hospital, nursing home, convalescent home, shelter care or senior citizens home.
Banking, savings and loan associations, businesses or professional offices
1 space for each 40 square feet of usable floor area, plus 1 space for each employee
Furniture and appliance stores, wholesale stores, household equipment, furniture repair offices, machinery sales
1 space for each employee
Notwithstanding the above requirement, the Village Board may require additional off-street parking, as determined by the Board, to be needed at the time of the application for building permit to construct the furniture and appliance store, wholesale store, household equipment, furniture repair office or machinery sales.
Barber shops and beauty parlors
4 spaces for each operator
Retail stores
At least 1 space for each employee
Notwithstanding the above requirement, the Village Board may require additional off-street parking, as determined by the Board, to be needed at the time of the application for building permit to construct the retail store.
Community shopping district areas
At least 1 space for each employee
Notwithstanding the above requirement, the Village Board may require additional off-street parking, as determined by the Board, to be needed at the time of the application for building permit to construct the community shopping district area.
Educational institutions:
 
   Elementary schools
1 space for every employee; in addition, where an auditorium is available for public use, parking space shall be provided equal in number to one-third of the capacity in persons of the auditorium or gymnasium
   High schools
1 space for every employee and space for each 5 students
   Junior colleges and colleges
1 space for each employee
Manufacturing and industrial use
1 space for each employee based upon the maximum number of persons to be employed at any one work period during the day or night, plus 1 adequate space for each vehicle used in the conduct of the operation
Motor freight terminals and local cartage companies
1 space for each employee based on the maximum number of persons to be employed for any period, plus 1 adequate space for each vehicle used in the conduct of the operations
Notwithstanding the above requirement, the Village Board may require additional off-street parking, as determined by the Board, to be needed at the time of the application for building permit to construct the junior college or college.
Bowling alleys
5 spaces per alley, plus 1 space for each employee
