§ 159.062 PERMITTED USES.
   (A)   The following retail business and service uses are permitted.
   (B)   Provided, they are operated entirely within a building, except for off-street parking and loading facilities:
      (1)   Apparel shops;
      (2)   Art and school supply stores;
      (3)   Art galleries and studios;
      (4)   Auto accessory stores;
      (5)   Bakery shops, including the baking and processing of food products when prepared for retail sales on the premises only;
      (6)   Barber shops and beauty parlors;
      (7)   Bicycle sales and repair;
      (8)   Book and stationery stores, excluding adult book stores;
      (9)   Bowling alleys;
      (10)   Camera and photographic supply shops for retail sale;
      (11)   Candy and ice cream shops;
      (12)   Carpet, rug and linoleum stores;
      (13)   Catalog offices for mail order stores;
      (14)   China and glassware stores;
      (15)   Coin and philatelic stores;
      (16)   Costume rental shops;
      (17)   Custom dressmaking, millinery, tailoring or shoe repair shops, when conducted for retail sales on the premises only;
      (18)   Department stores;
      (19)   Drugstores;
      (20)   Dry-cleaning and pressing establishments, when cleaning is not done on the premises;
      (21)   Dry goods stores;
      (22)   Electrical appliance stores and repairs, but not including appliance manufacture or assembly;
      (23)   Florist shops and conservatories for retail trade on the premises only;
      (24)   Food, meat and fruit stores;
      (25)   Frozen food stores and food lockers;
      (26)   Furniture stores and upholstery when conducted as a part of the retail operations and secondary to the main use;
      (27)   Furrier, when conducted for retail trade;
      (28)   Garden supply stores;
      (29)   Gift and card shops;
      (30)   Hardware stores;
      (31)   Hobby stores;
      (32)   Interior decorating shops, including upholstery and making of draperies, slipcovers, and other similar articles, when conducted as a part of the retail operations and secondary to the main use;
      (33)   Jewelry and watch sales and repair shops;
      (34)   Leather goods and luggage stores;
      (35)   Locksmiths;
      (36)   Meat markets;
      (37)   Millinery shops;
      (38)   Musical shops, musical instrument sales and repair, retail trade only;
      (39)   Orthopedic and medical appliance stores, but not including the assembly or manufacture of the articles;
      (40)   Package liquor stores;
      (41)   Paint and wallpaper stores;
      (42)   Pet shops and pet supplies;
      (43)   Picture framing, when conducted for retail trade on the premises only;
      (44)   Photo developing and processing; photography studios, including the development of film and pictures when done as part of the retail business on the premises;
      (45)   Public utility collection offices;
      (46)   Residential glazing service;
      (47)   Restaurants, tearooms or cafés, when the establishment is not of the drive-in type;
      (48)   Sewing machines, sales and service;
      (49)   Shoe and hat stores, and repairing when done as part of the retail business;
      (50)   Signs, as regulated by this code;
      (51)   Sporting goods stores;
      (52)   Stationery stores;
      (53)   Taxidermists;
      (54)   Theater, indoor;
      (55)   Toy stores;
      (56)   Typewriter and adding machine sales and service;
      (57)   Undertaking establishments, funeral parlors or mortuaries; and
      (58)   Variety stores.
