For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DEALER OF SECONDHAND PROPERTY. Every person engaged in the business of buying and/or selling and otherwise dealing in previously owned merchandise, including, but not limited to audiovisual equipment, games, camera, computer hardware, jewelry made of precious metal, precious stone or gem, auto parts, auto accessories, sporting or athletic gear or equipment, including bicycles, watches or currency.
PAWNBROKER. Every person engaged in the business of receiving property in pledge or as security for money or other things advanced to the pawner or pledger.
