§ 115.22 BOND REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   A bond shall be required of every person engaging in any of the businesses pertaining to the construction of sewers or drains in the village in the sum of $10,000 to be executed to the village, with sureties conditioned upon the faithful observance and performance of all the provisions of this subchapter or other ordinances of the village concerning sewers and drains and the making or maintaining of any connection thereto or therewith and conditioned, further, to save and keep the village harmless from loss, cost, damage, expense or liability of any kind whatsoever which the village may suffer or which may accrue against it or be charged to or recovered from it by reason of anything done by the person or by any servant thereof in and about the making of any alterations or repairs to or any work done in connection with the sewer system or any drain or pipe connection with the sewer of the village.
   (B)   In addition to the foregoing surety bond, a cash bond shall be required in the following amounts, which cash bond shall be held by the village for a period of six months to ensure faithful performance as set forth in this section and for the reasons as set forth in this section. The cash bond shall be in the amount of $100; however, in the event that it is necessary to open or otherwise disturb a street or curb, the cash bond requirement shall be $300.
