§ 110.06 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE; INVESTIGATION; ISSUANCE.
   (A)   Written application for a license shall be made to the Village Clerk, in each case, upon blanks furnished by him or her, except where otherwise specifically provided for, and a new application shall be made upon the expiration of any license issued before a new license shall be issued. On receipt of the application, if the Mayor requires an investigation, the Village Clerk shall, at once, proceed to make an investigation of the applicant as is required by the Mayor or shall transmit the application to the proper department for investigation. If the report recommends the granting of the license, the Village Clerk shall notify the applicant, and upon payment of the license fee and filing of a bond in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, when a bond is required, the Village Clerk, when authorized to do so by the Mayor, shall issue to the applicant a license bearing the seal of the village for a period for which payment is made.
   (B)   All licenses authorized to be issued and required to be procured by this chapter, which are granted by the Mayor, shall be issued by the Village Clerk upon instruction or direction from the Mayor so to do.
